Horoscope

Generally, Capricorns spent the last eight years gradually working
on building up material stability in their lives while facing a good
deal of instability in interpersonal relationships that forced them
to find their strength from within. Of course, such sweeping generalizations
are only worth so much, but they do help paint a picture of what
the transition is that you have been going through this year. There’s
a good chance things have felt less “stable,” i.e. boring,
but much more lively and dynamic. There might be something of a re-emphasis
on friendships in your life, along with some changes in this department.
Chances are that you are feeling much more stimulated mentally over
the last six months as well, and that this mind expansion has just
barely begun.
Your relationships
have probably undergone a big transition this year, but I can’t
say whether they have finally become more stable, or whether
your renewed curiosity has led you to create a windstorm of new
experiences. The odds are pretty good that you are more committed
than you have been in a while, but the planets are also showing
that you could be enjoying some new personal freedom entirely
on your own, and/or some new romantic experiments. Gee, that
really narrows it down, huh? Let’s try to switch gears.
The rest of this year while Uranus reenters Aquarius (from September
14th to December 30th) is fairly likely to bring you another
relationship curveball. This pattern of instability in relationships
might only have another few months to run its course, so know
that you are likely nearing the end of some of these lessons.
This year you’ve
tasted a new experience that is likely to continue for some time,
and it has the potential to be pretty wonderful. You’ve
been offered, and will continue to be offered for many, many
years to come, a new, almost childlike view of the world. It
looks like you will have the chance to move around a lot in the
years to come, doing lots of traveling and exploration. It looks
like you will be learning a whole lot, and even learning about
a more intuitive approach to the mind. If you are into your intuition,
you’re going to see it blossom over the next couple of
decades—so you ain’t seen nuthin’ yet in that
department. Most Capricorns will, sooner or later, find themselves
doing lots of inspired writing. If the arts are your kind of
thing, I’ve got great news for you. You’re looking
at more than two decades of astrological symbols that could show
you not only doing your arts, but getting them out there, too.
But really overall, this new phase that you’ve been tasting
over the last six months should have something to do with regaining
a sense of curiosity and interest in the world around you. So
in a way, the Universe has left you a very big yellow brick road
leading to an unpredictable and exciting exploration of this
amazing earth. And that brings me to a piece of advice that I
have for you at this stage.
Capricorn
can be more earthy than dirt. While this new phase should offer
you plenty of opportunities when it comes to business, for a
long time to come, what I think the Universe has in mind for
you over the next twenty-something years has a lot more to do
with things that are more airy than solid. The realm of ideas,
the experience of journeys, the excitement of new experiences,
the stimulation of social life, the joy of the arts—these
are all things that I hope you’re open to exploring with
nothing less than a sheer and undying passion for being alive.
Please, more than ever, you’ve got to prove those lame
Sun Sign stereotypes wrong. Don’t act like the lump they
want to make you out to be. I know you’re really wearing
leopard-skin underwear underneath those nicely ironed earthtone
pants (I know, I know, I’m psychic; what can I say?). Grrr,
baby. Grrrr. Show yourself that you’ve still got plenty
of inner childlike passion left in you for everything it means
to be human. God’s wish for you now: Grrr, baby. Live,
explore, learn, and have a blast. The exciting journey continues
